Informal Full and Final

Bankruptcy can provide relief from debt if you have little in the way of possessions and surplus money that would be available to creditors in a bankruptcy. This could include personal guarantees to creditors or banks and claims by a liquidator/administrator for overdrawn loan accounts or excessive dividends. Generally offers via informal arrangements demonstrate that this is a better return to the creditor than they would get if you were forced into a formal insolvency. We approached the Debt Advisor when we hit rock bottom. We were initially reluctant to seek advice as to the "stigma" attached to debt. Following an initial chat with Bev Budsworth, we decided to use the Debt Advisor and enter into an IVA. Our case handler was Stephanie Jolly, who during the period of the IVA was nothing short of amazing. She was always on hand to support and assist. We have now come to an end of our arrangement. This was not possible without the help and support of the Debt Advisor. Anyone in a similar position please don't be embarrassed to seek help. If you require that help then seek help from the Debt Advisor. Both myself and my wife are externally grateful to the help and support given by both Bev and Stephanie. If they can help us, they can help anyone.
